Well as I said it will be hard updating this site now we are on the road. The trip to London was fairly uneventful and though it was 12 hours flight the time difference meant we were up for 24 hours by the time we waited a decent amount of time (9pm uk time) to go to bed.

The last 3 days in London were full on did all the touristy things Changing of the Guards, Big Ben Parliament House, Portobella Markets full of tube travel riding on the double decker buses cruise on the Thames River and going to West End to see Guys and Dolls musical. Absolutely fantastic and totally exhausting. The hotel at Notting Hill was great - loads of space and ensuite incredible for the price. Collected the car from Marble Arch this morning and drove to Chatham to see my Aunty Rene and amazingly enough only got lost once and recovered within 10 minutes so made the trip in 2 hours which was pretty good. Currently at High Halden in Kent and staying at B&B called Hopes Grove which is great have a 2 bedrooms (just in case we have had enough of one another) bathroom and lounge area and they have kindly let me use the computer to update the site.

We are heading off to Leeds Castle and Hastings tomorrow and will get back on line when possible. Thanks for the comments to date much appreciated to know that some are reading our story.
