West Sussex - Dorset - Cornwall & Devon

Well finally got back on line to update. Drove to Cornwall and called in at Looe nice beachside spot and very popular with locals. Went on to have a look at Lanhydrok Home which was built in Jacobean times but destroyed by fire in 1881 and refashioned to create Victorian home with estate covering 900 acres. On to Bodmin where we couldn't get accommodation as Country Fair was on so over to Mevagissy a small seaside village. What they didn't say is that the roads (if you can call them that) were winding down to the village extremely narrow and houses either side - which don't give like hedges. Finally got to B&B and found you could only park long enough to grab a bag which hadn't been zipped up so clothes went all over the road. Eventually got the stress level under control and settled in.

Weather has been amazing travelling around it has been 20-25 degrees until Saturday when we decided to Lands End and St Michaels Mount (which we found out is closed Saturday). Sea mist and low cloud meant visibility was poor but made for interesting photos. On way back stumbled across ruins of village from 500bc now that is old.
