Amsterdam - Day 2

Well finally found a museum that suits me, wandering around the red light district today came across the Sex History Museum so dragged John in and checked it out. Needless to say it was very very interesting and came across a couple of things that I was totally unaware of. As they say you learn something everyday.

We also managed a couple of markets and a canal boat cruise to see old Amsterdam and the largest canal in the world where the cruise ships spend a day. Due to the harbour tax of 50,000 euro a day they cannot afford to stay any longer. There are loads of house boats permanently moored on the canals also, they cost from 300,000 euro which is 100k for boat and 200k for mooring spot.

We are off to UK again tomorrow so will update once again in a few days.
